Logistics managers, supply chain coordinators, airline inventory teams, ground operations staff
One of the leading companies in global aviation logistics needed Adorebits to design an advanced system for Aviation Logistics & Supply Chain Management. It was supposed to tackle the detailed complexities pertaining to logistics in the supply chain of the aviation industry.
Data Fragmentation: The logistics provider faced data that was fragmented from multiple sources, which included airlines, suppliers, and airports. These fragmented sources made it extremely difficult for them to have a unified view of inventory levels and also look at supply chain operations as an integrated unit.
Inventory position updates: These updates could not be provided in real-time within the existing system due to these constraints, so decisions were delayed and inefficient.
Scalability: As there was an increase in new international routes, the client needed a system which is scalable enough to grow with operations.
The logistics data: This data is sensitive, considering that it has aircraft parts and fuel levels. This demanded the need for a secure data management platform.
Inefficient data processing: The logistics system processes millions of data points every day, but the system lacks analytical capabilities to analyze them and result in actionable insights.
End-to-end data integration using .NET and C#: Adorebits developed a robust backend system using .NET and C#, thereby allowing seamless interface data to integrate from different sources into one unified platform.
Big Data Analytics Spark, and SQL: Adorebits used frameworks of Spark and Big Data to process and manage millions of data in real time. SQL databases were optimized for quick access to information such that inventory levels, shipments, and aircraft logistics are updated in real time.
Utilizing Blockchain for Data Security: Blockchain technology was used to ensure tamper-proof transactions and also to protect the data. The critical data about the parts, shipments, and fuel levels were kept safe.
Deployed Scalable Cloud Infrastructure on AWS: Adorebits deployed the system on AWS for high availability and scalability.
Front-End Development with Angular.js: The user interface developed using Angular.js is responsive and intuitive so that logistics managers and ground staff could easily access real-time updates on shipments and inventory management across locations in every corner of the globe.
Real-Time Inventory Management: Updating of the stock level occurred in real-time; further delays were reduced to 30% improvements in the accuracy of supply chain decisions.
Better Operational Efficiency: Since all logistics data were then available on one system, the client made its supply chain more transparent and managed it through key decisions.
Better Scalability: Since AWS’s cloud-based infrastructure supports the scalability of the system, this was used to expand the airline into new international markets.
Big Data plus Predictive Analytics: This helped the client predict their maintenance needs. Aircraft parts and fuel came in hand in advance of necessity, reducing delays and increasing aircraft uptime by 15%.
Reduced Costs of Data Handling: Spark, SQL, and Big Data integration made it easier for the system to handle huge volumes of data.
Adorebits’ Aviation Logistics & Supply Chain Management System therefore helped the client with optimal logistics management, better inventory control, and enhancement in the nature of decisions being made that put the client ahead of others within the aviation logistics group.
