Objective

An established entrepreneur approached Adorebits for his e-commerce marketplace app development requirements. The marketplace application enabled several auto accessories vendors to list and sell their products to end consumers. He wanted to build a Flutter application that could run both on iOS and Android platforms.

The app also enabled the sellers to promote their offline stores. And the users could also list and sell used products (automobile accessories) through the app.

Challenges

Challenges

    • The app required the integration of individual login panels for three types of users (vendors, buyers, admin).
    • Integration of an additional feature, where both vendors and customers can list and sell their second-hand auto accessories.
    • The sellers could individually manage their online product catalogue and product listings page.
    • The sellers were also given an additional functionality that allowed them to list and promote their various physical storefronts on their profile itself.
    • An intuitive admin panel was required that could allow the admin to manage the users, marketplace content, payments, etc.
    • The client wished to integrate an event section and news section as well.
Solutions

Solutions

    • The app designers custom-designed a crisp and appealing design for the app, keeping the UI/UX standards in mind for easy navigation.
    • The developers designed individual login panels for the various users with their individual set of features.
    • The sellers had a separate panel to manage their product listings, profile, customer requests, and payment details.
    • The sellers could list their multiple physical locations on their profile itself. And the customers can check store locations in their proximity along with buying online.
    • Along with the main product pages, we developed a tab to purchase and list second-hand accessories. And existing vendors and the customers can list these second-hand products on their profile.
    • Secure payment gateway was integrated with popular mobile wallets and online payment options.
    • Customers could search for auto accessories, use various filters, order products, make payments and track deliveries.
    • A guided admin panel was created where he could manage the users, the payments, app content, refunds, help requests, etc.
    • Server-managed event and news section were created to promote auto-industry events as well as industry news.

Results:

    • The developers were able to develop, test, and deliver, and deploy the app within 4 months.
    • The app attracted many vendors within its launch month itself and the client started generating returns from the app.
