Factory managers, supply chain coordinators, inventory managers, and warehouse staff
A prominent manufacturing enterprise engaged Adorebits to change its supply chain and production. It sought to be integrated into a smart manufacturing and supply chain management system where they could experience improved efficiency and reduced operational costs, with all the stages of production and logistics well integrated. The core goal was related to establishing the system data-driven for improvement in automation and prediction of requirements for maintenance toward best achievement through optimization on the supply chain through real analytics.
Complex integration: Client faced the complications related to the integration of the supply chain involving raw material procurement, production planning, and distribution.
Data Silos: The whole logistics and inventory system information of the plant often had a silo structure, in which information was locked away and relatively inaccessible; hence, decisions were sometimes difficult to make in real-time.
Manual Operations and Downtime: Most of the manufacturing operations were controlled manually, which meant that the detention time was quite high along with higher operating costs due to unscheduled maintenance.
Poor stock control over the involved materials: overstocking or understocking resulted from poor forecasting.
Poor Scalability: The systems implemented did not have scalability at an appropriate level as there was growth in business and changes in the demand patterns of the company
End-to-End Integration with SAP: The company, Adorebits, used SAP toestablish an integrated platform for the supply chain, incorporating many aspects including inventory, procurement, and production.
Custom application for real-time data processing on .NET: This was a.NET-based application, developed through C#, for real-time data processing from the shop floor
Chain of Data: This large collection of manufacturing and supply chain data was duly stored and retrieved using optimized SQL databases.
Scalable Cloud Infrastructure on AWS: Adorebits moved the system to AWS for scalability and greater flexibility in changing its infrastructure dynamically under the needs of the business company.
Containerization with Docker: Applications were containerized with the use of Docker, which made the system modular, easy to deploy, and maintain across different environments.
Improved Efficiency: By integrating SAP with .NET and AWS, the company experienced a 30% improvement in overall manufacturing efficiency.
Reduced Downtime: Predictive analytics, powered by real-time data processing and machine learning, reduced unplanned downtimes by 25%.
Optimized Inventory Management: Inventory levels were better managed, resulting in a 20% reduction in overstocking and a 15% reduction in material shortages, saving operational costs
Scalability and Flexibility: The cloud infrastructure provided by AWS and Docker containerization allowed the system to scale efficiently.
Enhanced Operational Control: Factory managers and supply chain coordinators could now track and control every aspect of the manufacturing and distribution process through the customized .NET dashboard, leading to improved decision-making.
Adorebits’ Smart Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management System empowered the client with the tools necessary to thrive in an increasingly competitive market by streamlining operations and improving data-driven decision-making processes.
